Much ado about nothing

Almost one month into Lockdown 3
How are you ?
Bored?
Fed up?
Coping?

Recognise me? It’s not far from the truth and an uncanny likeness!

Let us know if we are not alone.

We have been filling our time with daily walks on the moors (a little too much rain for our liking – but so lucky to have this on our doorstep), completed several puzzles (which have been satisfying, strangely competitive and very enthralling), baked (unsuccessfully) increased our chocolate, crisp and wine intake threefold together with expanding waistlines.

Shameful to say we only make ourselves presentable when we are on zoom (waist upwards), out delivering orders and the supermarket shop.
Mr DPD caught us one morning in our dressing gowns.
(Before 9am might I add) – Very unprofessional.

Cleaned the house thoroughly once – a second time is not looking forthcoming!
We have enjoyed binge watching ‘The Serpent’ and are now devouring box sets of ‘The Crown’.

We have been dreaming and constructing our perfect Summer House / Art studio in our heads.
Strangely our visions differ. Terry somewhere to practice intricacies of ballroom steps (he can’t wait to teach again) – me, an art studio to have some space to paint without coating the rest of the house in splatters. Not sure how the two will work together in practice !!

Of course all of the above has been interspersed with redressing the shop windows, even though we are in lockdown (by the way thank you for your lovely comments – some of you are still looking in), and attending to orders, admin, website updating (never ending), form filling and more form filling for HMRC etc, etc etc…
We are also looking ahead to the future when we are finally out of lockdown and with all the new products we hope to tempt you with.

While we are still in limbo and waiting to be jabbed ……
We think you all deserve a little pick me up while being confined.

Here are a few guilt free treats that won’t break the bank ranging from
£5 – £30 that will add some cheer and sparkle to your home or to someone you know that needs a lift. Go on have a treat. You certainly deserve it.

We are still offering ‘Click & Collect’ and free delivery over £35 during lockdown (there are a few exceptions).
We are now accepting the Tavistock Gift Card online (www.cabanainteriors.co.uk).
You are always welcome to phone if you prefer the personal touch
– available 7 days a week 01822 611000

Here are a few of our favourite things……

Until we meet again, stay positive, well and stay safe.
Best wishes from..

Nathalie, Terry, Sara and Elaine

    Hi Natalie,
Before Christmas I bought a lovely hummingbird from you – I think it was your last one! I have it hanging above a lamp which shows off the beautiful purple/blue colours. Do you by any chance have another one exactly the same?
Hopefully I will be able to shop normally again soon!
    Best wishes,
    Angela

      Hi Angela,
Thank you for getting in contact.
I still have 2 styles of hummingbirds left.
I have one @ £7 a teal colour and one @ £5 with green sparkle for the body and teal wings. Both can be seen on the website.
Look under Sculptures / ornaments – animals.
let us know which one you prefer. You can order online or call the shop.
      Kind regards
